Eduardo Ascensão is a researcher at the Centro de Estudos Geográficos, University of Lisbon. An anthropologist and urban geographer, his research interests are in cities and the geographies of architecture as well as in the intersection of urban informality and postcolonialism. He has published his work in journals such as Análise Social, the International Journal of Urban and Regional Research, City and Antipode.This website presents some aspects of his current research project on the technoscience of slum intervention in Portuguese-speaking cities.
